monument lake resort
Monument Lake Resort is a 350-acre park with 20 room hotel, 13 cabins, full RV and camping sites. The 100-acre lake is stocked with browns, cutthroats, rainbows, kokanee salmon, and splake. The resort is located on Highway 12 (Highway of Legends).

Blue lake
Blue Lake (State Wildlife Areas) is stocked with trout. This lake is located off of Highway 12 (Highway of Legends) on Road 422 (left turn). 422 winds along the river, then continues through several switchbacks to Blue Lake.
Fees for camping, picnicking, fishing, and parking.

Bear lake
Bear Lake (State Wildlife Areas) is stocked with trout. This lake is located off of Highway 12 (Highway of Legends) on Road 422 (left turn). 422 winds along the river, then continues through several switchbacks to Blue Lake. The road continues for about a mile until it reaches Bear Lake.
Fees for camping, picnicking, fishing, and parking.

North lake
North Lake (State Wildlife Area) is stocked with rainbow, brown, and cutthroat trout; kokanee salmon; and splake. This lake is located on Highway 12 (Highway of Legends).
Flies and lures only!
Trinidad lake state park
Trinidad Lake State Park is a 2,700-acres park. The 800-acre lake is stocked with rainbow and brown trout, crappie, large mouth bass, channel catfish, saugeye, walleye, wipers and bluegill. This lake is located just outside of Trinidad on Highway 12 (Highway of Legends).
Daily Park Pass: $9 per vehicle
Lathrop state park
The park has two lakes one offers water skiing, power and sail boating and the other is great for swimmers, canoeing, kayaking and wakless boats. There is horse back riding, biking, birding, geocacheing and hiking trails. You can catch catfish, bass, walleye, trout and blue gill at both lakes. Horseshoe Lake is known for its large tiger muskies. Lathrop is also the only Colorado State Park with a 9-hole Golf Course and a put-put aria.
